The role of Retirement Plan Advisor at Clearwater Capital Partners is a dynamic role in providing support of the firm’s corporate program clients, financial advisors, and business owner clients while leading business development efforts and day to day operations of their client base. An ideal candidate will successfully cultivate new business opportunities and be responsible for solidifying relationships with prospects, deepening relationships with existing clients, negotiating contracts, and serving your existing client base.

As a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA), Clearwater Capital Partners has enjoyed significant growth since its founding in 2006. As the client base and team has grown, the design to further support and expand the retirement plan business with a Retirement Plan Advisor is necessary.

Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

 

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Coordinate and manage the Request for Proposals (RFPs) process

·         Coordinate the materials and delivery of services and recordkeeping platform proposals

·         Deliver prospect presentations in coordination with the Director of Business Development

·         Conduct retirement plan prospect research, evaluations, and review proposals with Director of Retirement Plans

·         Support Wealth Advisor business by providing ongoing education and training

·         Manage the conversion process of new plan business and provide updates to plan sponsors

·         Maintain and update the CRM

·         Maintain and monitor existing client base of Qualified and Non-Qualified plans providing oversight as needed.

·         Maintain oversight and review of the core funds used in retirement plans

·         Maintain and monitor each plan’s Investment Committee and Participant Education requirements and deliver to these areas with other team support.

·         Review existing client base for expanded business solutions and private client advisor opportunities.

 

Required Skills

·         Experience delivering client presentations to both existing clients and prospects

·         Detailed understanding of 401(k) plan service providers (e.g., recordkeeping platforms, TPAs, etc.)

·         Financial industry experience; preferably in wealth management or private banking

·         Specific knowledge of investment products (e.g., Mutual Funds, CITs, Separate Accounts)

·         Understanding of ERISA, DOL regulations and current industry trends

·         Ability to anticipate plan sponsor client needs

·         Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, strong decision-making skills and able to multi-task effectively

·         Ability to maintain a high level of productivity under pressure within a supportive team environment

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         Proficiency in using PowerPoint; Excel; Word

·         Strong analytical skills

·         AIF (Accredited Investment Fiduciary); CRPS or other industry designation a plus

Minimum Requirements

·         Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred

·         Satisfactory verification of citizenship or immigration status, a successful background screening, credit check and drug testing.
